IS MY DOG TOO OLD TO BE TRAINED?

You can definitely teach an old dog new tricks!

In fact, just like ourselves, experts recommend that you keep your dog's brain active throughout its lifetime to limit age-related cognitive decline.

If you are looking to change a problematic behaviour, it is best to get the training started before your dog gets too many chances to rehearse the behaviour and turns it into a habit.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO DOG TRAINING?

As an accredited member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, we are committed to practising the most up-to-date, ethical, science-based, force-free, reward-based training.

We believe that a dog's emotional state should always be considered during training and anything that could cause the dog fear, stress or anxiety is not conducive to healthy learning.

IS MY PUPPY TOO YOUNG TO START TRAINING?

Absolutely not! In fact, some clients like to get a trainer on board for advice before they welcome a new puppy into their family. Let's start as we mean to go on and lay some foundations that set your puppy up for success from day one.

We can start training from the comfort of your own home with our puppy home visits. Once your puppy is able to attend, we can continue their training journey with our group training classes.
